Visual art is not just what it looks like and feels like.

Intro

Front‑end developer with roots in fine arts and early digital design. I started my career when desktop publishing was taking off, spending my first year of college in the computer lab and later studying at Parsons School of Design in New York. That’s where I shifted fully into the emerging digital space — learning Photoshop, Illustrator, digital animation, and interactive development with Macromedia Director and Flash in 1995.

I entered the industry in 2000 at a NY digital agency, continued through the post–dot‑com era in Los Angeles, and have been building for the modern web ever since.

TODAY

Today, I specialize in building responsive front‑end interfaces for ecommerce and marketing, grounded in long‑standing experience with web standards and modern UI frameworks. Over the years I’ve worked extensively with Bootstrap, Zurb Foundation, and custom component systems, always focusing on clean structure, accessibility, and performance. My workflow also includes producing well‑optimized images and assets for fast, high‑quality delivery across devices. I’ve been working with Angular since v1, and I’m comfortable collaborating within backend ecosystems like Laravel and .NET to deliver complete, production‑ready front‑end solutions.
